Far North of Sweden

Across Europe to the Far North of Sweden Our first expedition will travel through several European countries, visiting breeders of hunting dogs, especially Spitz-type breeds, exploring local hunting grounds, and learning about the culture and traditions of the people along our route. We will document every stage of the journey, capturing the landscapes, hunting practices, and the incredible work with these dogs. The final destination is the Far North of Sweden, approximately 30 km from the Arctic Circle, where we will continue our research and adventures in remote hunting areas with our dogs.

The Distant and Endless Siberia

Our overland expedition will take us from Belgrade, Serbia all the way to the Irkutsk region near Lake Baikal, traveling through Hungary, Poland, Belarus, and Russia. This journey covers approximately 7,700 km one way, and we plan to document every stage, capturing landscapes, hunting grounds, and the rich traditions of the regions we pass through. Along the route, we will: Hunt with our own dogs across diverse hunting grounds. Visit breeders of hunting dogs and learn about local hunting traditions. Explore hunting grounds and local ecosystems, observing wildlife and documenting hunting practices. Learn about the culture and traditions of the people living along our path. The final destination is the Irkutsk region near Lake Baikal, where we will continue our expedition, hunting with our dogs in the remote Siberian wilderness. After completing our mission in Siberia, we will return to Serbia following the same route, making this a round trip of approximately 15,400 km. The journey will take several weeks, allowing ample time for exploration, hunting, and interaction with local hunters and breeders. This expedition is designed to combine adventure, hunting, research, and the preservation of hunting dog traditions, offering a unique insight into the wild landscapes of Eastern Europe and Siberia.

Moldova

This expedition will take us from Serbia to Moldova, traveling overland through Romania, with a total distance of approximately 1,500 km one way. Moldova, though a small country, offers diverse landscapes, traditional rural life, and authentic hunting grounds that are still largely unexplored. During this expedition, we will: Hunt with our own dogs in cooperation with local hunters and within legal frameworks. Explore hunting grounds across different regions of Moldova, including forests, river valleys, and agricultural landscapes. Visit local breeders of hunting dogs and exchange knowledge and experience. Document local hunting traditions, culture, and way of life, focusing on rural communities and their connection to nature. Special attention will be given to the interaction between hunters, dogs, and the land, highlighting traditional hunting methods and the role of dogs in everyday hunting practice. After completing our activities in Moldova, we will return to Serbia following the same route, completing a round trip of approximately 3,000 km. This expedition represents a combination of hunting, cultural exploration, and field documentation, serving as an introduction to Eastern European hunting traditions and landscapes.
